We offer the most comprehensive treatment program in the country for patients who struggle with eating disorders, mood and anxiety and trauma-related disorders.
How youll serve our patients As a ProgramTherapist at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of team that delivers hands-on treatment,grouptherapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation.
You will build on your education in this therapist in training role! You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways:
Facilitates curriculum-based therapeutic groups Cross-train acrossthelevels ofcarewithin your program Milieu Management De-escalation and crisis management Bathroom monitoring/flush checks Conduct self-harm and suicide assessment Behavior coaching support morning routine in IP/Res programs Collect weights, vitals and urine in some settings Documentation of groups, meals, patient check-ins, and observations Must haves Has a license-eligible Masters Level Mental Health Degree or is within 6-12 months of graduation.
Applies for provisional or intern license 6 months upon graduation.
Understanding ofde-escalation techniques and ACT/DBT skills training Groupcurriculum,facilitation and therapeutic milieu skills Knowledge and application of Trauma Informed Care Flexibility with schedule and team assignment Demonstrates knowledge of the variety of ways clients express stress reactions both behaviorally (eg, avoidance, aggression, passivity) and psychologically/emotionally (eg, hyperarousal, avoidance, intrusive memories) How we invest in you Every role at ERC Pathlight is essential to delivering the high-quality care we promise to our patients.
