Our client is looking for a Financial Operations Manager/Controller to join their team in Hunt Valley, MD.
Pay:
$30-43/hrThe role offers a competitive compensation package and the firm will also cover costs for education pursing defined industry related licenses and/or designations, where appropriate, once hired in.
Temp to PermNo VISA candidatesPosition is more similar to an Operations Manager/Controller-Manage and enhance smooth day-to-day operations of the firm's financial matters.
-Manage firm's Intuit QuickBooks to allow for up-to-date financial records, including Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Profit & Loss documents.
-Manage the receipt and distribution of Investment and Insurance revenue for the financial planners and teams.
-Collect and track payments of expenses from our financial planners and teams.
-Track year-to-date metrics for our financial planners and teams.
-Manage bi-weekly payroll for administrative staff of the firm.
-Meet with the Partner Group for bi-weekly meetings-Hiring and Onboarding of new staff members-Oversee and Coordinate technology support-Vendor and equipment lease managementEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS-Bachelor's Degree required-Preferably in business administration or accounting-3
years of accounting or bookkeeping experience in a professional setting.

years of experience with Intuit QuickBooks-Previously held a managerial or oversight role-Strong written and verbal communication skills-Ability to build and analyze key financial statements.
-Superior knowledge of Microsoft Excel to analyze existing spreadsheets to identify efficiencies.
Recommended Skills Accounting Administration Business Administration Communication Finance Metrics Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
