The Patient Care Representative will have the primary responsibility of assisting patients in our offices, greeting and assisting with check in, and ensuring a pleasant customer service experience in our offices.
Primary Duties Greet patients in a professional and courteous manner at check-in Verify that patient demographics and insurance information are complete and accurate Collect co-pays at the time of service payments (self-pay patients) and ensure patient receives receipt Schedule follow up appointments Communicate thoroughly with patients already scheduled Ensure that providers are made aware of service delays Ensure all clinical documents are maintained in patient charts Ensure all documentation is accurately entered into Database Other Duties and
Responsibilities:
Ensure front desk operations are open and available on time for patients and providers Maintain clean and neat office environment Must maintain good organizational skills and be detail oriented Collect, open, and sort all mail and ensuring that it is forwarded to the correct persons Job
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years Medical Office Experience Minimum 1 year Customer Service Experience Must have knowledge of Medical Terminology Must have exceptional phone etiquette Prefer prior mental health /behavioral health work experience Must be proficient in the knowledge of computers and database systems This position is NOT REMOTE.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
