Senior GIS Analyst/Consultant

We are seeking a Senior GIS Analyst/Consultant for our Hunt Valley, MD office. Ideal candidate will be passionate about developing a project management or technical career in the asset management industry. This individual will work with subject matter experts, lead consultants, project managers and phase managers to help achieve their respective project management objectives including statement of work and the development of project schedules. Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, advanced technical writing skills, and the ability to work directly with clients to gather requirements, monitor schedules and budgets, and exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
B.A./B.S. degree and eight (8) years related experience, or M.A./M.S. degree and six (6) years related experience or ten (10) years related experience.
Experience with Cityworks is strongly preferred.
Candidates that possess a working knowledge of asset management and GIS from both the public sector and consulting sector are preferred.
Skills:
Experience with business & workflow analysis
Experience with system configuration & documentation
Developing and providing training
Presentation quality cartographic skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical staff/management
Knowledge of relational database designs used in GIS
Strong general computer skills (troubleshooting/problem solving)
Proficiency in Windows OS and Microsoft software products
Ability to research and resolve data inconsistencies in a GIS geodatabase.
