JOB OVERVIEW
The Web Designer is responsible for working with a variety of corporate clients to develop and implement web designs for their employee benefits websites.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for conceptualization and implementation of design solutions that meet client expectations.
Manage multiple projects of varying complexities.
Coordinate and partner with clients and internal teams to discuss and document technical and business requirements, fulfill requests, review output and deliver a web design.
Use proprietary website content management solution (Portal Design Manager) to implement client websites.
Develop custom images, page layouts, and relevant messaging based on client brand and requirements.
Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues.
Review, inspect, and complete scope, pricing analysis and assess priority of change order requests as applicable.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor''s degree (preferred concentration in e-Commerce, Web Design & Development, Computer Science or related degree, preferred). A minimum of an Associate''s Degree in design or related field may be considered.
3-5 years working experience as a web designer with experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Must be highly proficient with current versions of Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with a wide range of web and multimedia software and applications (InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator).
Business-to-business design experience and usability experience preferred.
Typography, creativity, strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, client service attitude, required.
WORK CONDITIONS - Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
Frequent computer use at workstation up to two hours at a time or for extended periods of time.
Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
Access information using a computer and related components and peripherals.
Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
Occasional travel may be required.
