We are currently seeking a self-motivated Geologist I for our Hunt Valley, MD office. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the planning, fieldwork and reporting phases for a wide range of multidisciplinary environmental projects. This person will be conducting Phase I and II assessments for commercial and municipal clients. Preferred candidate will be self-motivated, and able to work independently or within a team of environmental professionals. Candidates that currently hold Maryland LBP and ACM certifications preferred.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Geology, current OSHA HAZWOPER and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.
1-3 years of experience with environmental consulting, including field-sampling procedures, monitoring well installation, analytical data interpretation and reporting;
1-2 years of experience conducting Phase I and Phase II assessments.
Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft office suite) required; GIS experience a plus;
Willingness to travel out of state for project tasks lasting several weeks or more.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
