_DESCRIPTION /
Responsibilities:_
Under the direct supervision of the Team Manager, the Manufacturing Technician operates under a total task, team-based approach to contribute towards achieving the department's team goals. Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for operating production/packaging equipment, performing quality inspections, handling minor mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance, and moving raw materials, packaging, and finished goods to, from, and within a department using mechanical and manual means.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Executing product changeovers
Packaging size changes
Product specification changes
Operating processing, filling, and packaging production equipment
Performing consistent quality inspection of products, packs, and palletized finished goods
Accurately completing all paperwork
Using a computerized inventory management system to select orders and input data
Moving, storing, and inventorying supplies according to department specifications
Completing all training and qualification requirements
Learning and complying with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the food industry
All duties _must_ be performed in a safe manner in accordance with all required safety processes and procedures. Environmental conditions may include noise, strong odors, and hot/cold temperatures.
This position requires flexibility with shift and work day assignments to support business need requirements and to reduce company overtime. (For example, one potential work schedule might be Sunday - Thursday.).
_REQUIRED
Qualifications:_
Basic math, reading, and writing skills
Ability to work overtime on short notice and weekends
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to contribute to team effort with regular attendance, a high level of discipline, and a positive attitude
Ability to move up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis and occasionally move up to 100 pounds with team assistance
_PREFERRED
Qualifications:_
Manufacturing plant maintenance experience
Basic knowledge of weights and measures
SAP experience
Forklift operator license
Experience working in manufacturing or supply chain logistics (logistics, warehouse, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to access, interpret and use multiple computerized data collection, data entry or inventory control systems
Proven mechanical ability/experience with minor mechanical repairs (using basic and specialized tools, making basic adjustments to equipment, etc.)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
