Manager, Risk Operations Management 1
Bill Me Later, Inc., a PayPal company seeks, Manager, Risk Operations Management 1 in Hunt Valley, Maryland.
Job Duties:
Responsible for Initiate, develop and manage risk operations strategies for the Bill Me Later portfolio. Drive complex analytics including segmentation and treatment optimization, end-to-end to provide actionable insights and customer behavior trends leveraging data from both internal and external sources across eBay Inc. Develop test and designs; analyze Test and Control results and make rollout recommendations across collections and recoveries. Identify, research, and analyze emerging trends in loss performance and make strategic recommendations to mitigate trends. Utilize knowledge of operational opportunities and make operational recommendations including improving efficiency and staff effectiveness. Closely partner with Operations, Technology and Project management teams on project execution. Drive value-based decisioning in the day-to-day risk operations activities to maximize profit for the business. Provide Risk-Ops leadership with external parties in the context of new products or expansions. This position has no direct reports and does not supervise/manage other staff.
Minimum Requirements:
Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Operations Research, Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing or closely related quantitative discipline and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience in marketing, business or data analytics or Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, Operations Research, Business Administration, Engineering, or Marketing or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, business or data analytics.

Experience must include:
Experience in Financial Services, Business Analytics and Strategy; Risk Management and Collections; Excel; Spreadsheet analysis; Experience working with complex datasets; SQL, SAS or other data mining and database related query languages; analyzing and handling large data sets; Management of analytical and data based projects from beginning to end; Financial and Predictive modeling; Valuations.
